Comments for Arcadia, So Red The Rose

E-MAIL: Lucritia_Edgerton@baylor.edu
This is a great album for fans of the current Duran Duran. Although bassist John Taylor is not present in Arcadia, drummer Roger Taylor makes up for it. This album is a little more mellow than their current release, but is great for those dark moods, or rainy days. I highly recommend it.

The musical equivalent of "Vanity Publishing" Utterly worthless.

It is too bad that Nick, John, & Simon did not put another album like this out before Duran brokeup(Andy & Roger leaving). If you like the old Duran or the '90's Duran this is a must get!!!!

This is it! This the THE desert island album for me. I never tire of this beautiful work. Prior to release, I read an interview in whick Nick Rhodes said the Arcadia sessions had produced enough material for a double album. Does anyone know if any of the remaining material has ever been made available?

Duran should have called it quits after this one.

WOW!!!!!! THIS IS THE MOST ETHEREAL ALBUM I'VE EVER HEARD! IT DOESN'T GET ANY BETTER THAN THIS. NOTHING CAN COMPARE TO IT! SUCH SWIRLING MOODS! THIS AND DURAN DURAN'S FIRST TWO ALBUMS ARE THE EPITOME OF PERFECTION. EVERY SENTIMENT IS THERE WITHIN THE THREE; THERE'S NO NEED TO EVER LOOK ELSEWHERE.

I''m speechless...... OK. IT SUCKS! I''m glad the poppy 80''s are over!
Simon Le Bon, Nick Rhodes, and Roger Taylor from Duran Duran`s project when the other two Taylors were off doing Power Station. Features Sting on "The Promise". In some ways solider than later Duran Duran releases.

Although it seemed that the Powerstation claimed more success with their project, (and I am in no way putting down the powerstation for I am a John Taylor fan) I do think that this other side project was the better of the two. Lady Ice still melts me everytime I listen to it. I will surely never tire from the album. EVER!!!!
