Comments for Arden, Jann, Time for Mercy

Finally got this one a year and a half after buying her 2nd album, Living Under June which has since become a favorite of mine. Unfortunatly, Time For Mercy doesn''t come close to the quality of LUJ. The songs here are mostly slow and listless and the tone is bleak throughout. For major Jann fans like myself (I am part of the fan club and I even buy her cd singles) Time For Mercy will be of interest for about one or two listens but it will just make you want to pull your copy of Living Under June again.

Style is much slower than Jann`s second album, Livingunder June. Some of the songs on this album sound country-ish.Otherwise, if you liked Living Under June, you will most likelyenjoy this one.
