Comments for Arkenstone,David, In the Wake of the Wind

A kind of forerunner to "Quest of the Dream Warrior," this album is different but just as good. It is all instrumental with the tracks given various textures by differing use of instruments. Arkenstone''s excellent sense of melody is all pervasive and he knows how to write a catchy hook. On this one the map is the cover as well (no story-book as with "Quest") but unfortunately he appears on the front cover which, while tastefully done, is disruptive to the concepty feel of the thing. Well, these are minor complaints anyway, and he went on to make "Quest" slightly more polished. (Ian C. Thomas)

This album tells a story with music, an adverture on the sea and over strange lands. A very neat concept, very well done.
