Comments for MADONNA, Something to Remember

Madonna gives us all "something to remember" with this romantic, beautiful, and extremely mature album. Album highlights include the three exceptional new songs and past "forgotten" ballads such as "Something To Remember" and "Rain."

Jan 5/96 An excellent album! Madonna hits the nail on the head! You don't have to like her personally or agree with her antics just get over it and listen to the music. This lady can sing, and on this album she delivers. Madonna gives us all, Something to Remember.

I regret to say that, as a Madonna fan, I was very disapointed in this effort. Madonna's strong points are not her ballads but, are her pop classics such as 'Express Yourself' and 'Vogue'. My advice is,if you like the Madonna that everyone knows, don't buy this album.

This used to be my Playground is the best song. I get a weird feeling when I hear it. It's like a trance or something. Am I crazy? email me if you get this same feeling. It's like it brings back memories or something...

How many years must we endure this tired floozy's (who, if American culture existed on any quality level, wouldn't have stayed afloat past her first album) self-indulgent rantings? Not many more, I hope.

The essential collection for any fan of Madonna''s more mature side. "Take a Bow" and "Something to Remember" are beautiful pop tunes, and her remake of "I Want You" is very effective. One of the other new songs, "One More Chance," ranks as one of her greatest ballads to date. Only the terrific "Sooner or Later" from "Dick Tracy" is missing in this stellar collection of timeless ballads.
Great album filled with favorites such as I`ll Remember,Take a Bow, and Rain.
