Comments for Magnetic Fields, Distant Plastic TreesE-MAIL: grossw@rpi.edu I prefer the textures/melodies on The Wayward Bus to the songs on this album. Very synth, very little bass. 100,000 Fireflies is my favorite from this release. Recommended Created in 1989, this is the landmark first album. Suckers who have either of the WAYWARD BUS partial reissues are missing the last track. It is, however, available on a compilation called THE LONG SECRET, on Harriet Records. A live version of "Plant White Roses" appears on Merge Records 5th Anniversary compilation. This album, along with the other tracks on the WAYWARD BUS, are all sung by Susan Anway. After her departure, Stephin assumed the vocal duties.Comments supplied by users do not necessarily reflect the opinions of Roadkill Consulting, Inc. |
