This album is much more brooding than earlier releases, and also more so than the near simultaneously-released HOLIDAY. "Long Vermont Roads" was releasedearlier as a single, and "Crowd Of Drifters" originally appeared on DOCTORDEATH`s Vol.IV, with Susan Anway singing. Early songs such as "Tar-Heel Boy"and "Plant White Roses" give some indication of where this work came from.
