Comments for Marillion, Afraid of SunlightE-MAIL: jemmy@student.umass.edu E-MAIL: jemmy@student.umass.edu i don't know how many of you got to see them on the AoS tour- i know opportunities are less rare in the UK - but i saw them for the first (and second) time in concert here in the US, this tour, this year (1995), and was just completely blown away. the crowd readctions at both bars (The Paradise, Boston, and Toad's Place, New Haven, Conn.), was just amazing, esp to songs like Uninvited Guest and the FGish-era tunes, but also to the newer songs, like Beautiful and Gazpacho. i, myself, am so eagerly waiting for anuother chance to see them...E-MAIL: james.houston@strath.ac.uk Listen pal, you can't beat a night at the Barrowlands right here in Glasgow, Scotland when Marillion play there. It's really something else.E-MAIL: james.houston@strath.ac.uk As Beavis and Butthead would say "These guys kick ass!" "Uh.., yeah. They're pretty cool"E-MAIL: cmcp1711@embratel.net.br When I saw the title of the track Cannibal Surf Babe, I thought: Oh no, again they're trying to be a pop star band! When I heard Beautiful... Where is the band who recorded the Brave album?E-MAIL: james.houston@strath.ac.uk Listen, arsehole, FUCK YOU!!! Just FUCK OFF and give all us TRUE fans of the band a goddam fuckin break. KING DONGE-MAIL: impy@online.ru Well done. Next step would be recording of a compilation from Pet Shop Boys. If you go on like this you'll be out of the rock map absolutely soon. If someone needs a fresh breath, I'd suggest to get Arena albums, that's the real perfection.E-MAIL: impy@online.ru Well done. Next step would be recording of a compilation from Pet Shop Boys. When I paint, I try to listen to music which inspires me and can stimulate feelings and emotions in me which results in brilliance. I''d like to meet someone that can write music and lyrics that can first of all accomplish that in me, and secondly, can identify and clearly communicate things to feel good about. Afraid of Sunlight lifts me up and I love it! Probably their finest hour with Hogarth. `Gazpacho` alone is worth the price of the album, linking OJ Simpson witha Spanish soup, it`s the bees knees.Marillion hit the mark once again. Top cuts - Beautiful, C.S.B., the title track, Beyond you.------------- King Kong DongComments supplied by users do not necessarily reflect the opinions of Roadkill Consulting, Inc. |
