I must say that this album is their best yet. I am a huge fan, and I am extremely excited with the direction that the band seems to be heading in. I was definitely sorry to see Daisy go, but I think that Zim Zum is going to work out great! They are less metal now, and more industrial, yet they still rock better than anyone! Marilyn Manson is the greatest thing that has ever happened to me! This album just proves that Marilyn Manson are the closest thing to god that you can get!

An interesting lil concept/rock opera. Still pretty good mix of metal/industrial with Beatles influences thrown in for flavor.

Beatles influences??? Puh-leaze. Though it is their best album, they are still just shock-rockers. Marilyn thinks he's so damn cool, but he isn't . He's just another wannabe who uses Satanism as a tool to get to stardom. He doesn't understand that he's the tool. He's being used. But still, I give this album a 6 rating. Some cool musical work, just lyrics that make me puke and laugh my ass off at.

A great magnum opus. It's probably the most ambitious album of this decade. A fuckin' masterpiece.

You all complain about Manson and his music, Well if you don't like it don't listen to it. This is just history repeating it self, because the same thing was going on when KISS where new to the scene. Now they are gods. Manson has got some of the coolest music out there and just cause we listen doesn't mean we want to kill our selves. We just know good music when we hear it. Letting them in. Although I didn't prefer his musical sound I listened to him because of his lyrical content. He was mad, confused and so were his "followers." He was someone to connect with. You see, you the listeners have led just as a confused and frustrating life as MM has. But, when people start saying "MM is a god," it makes me think his music is a total hypocrisy. He must be saying something that makes you think and believe as he does. Isn't that just an alternate organized religion from Christianity? Understand, I still like his music, (lyrically of course)I just hope his music isn't translated into scripture. *I have a friend that is right now suffering from depression. I tried to help them but they thought there is no reason for living. It was sad, and frustrating. I hated it. I Realized that they were dealing with their own issues. I knew all I do was let them know that I was always going to be there for them. And they listened but nothing was progressing. When they first heard MM they found a voice for themself. They felt they had someone to know exactly what they were trying to figure out. This is a very unique situation because they now realize the reason for living is life itself. That is a privilege and by listening to MM they have become mentally Healthier.

I use to be a fan of your music, the words explained everything that I hated. But after awhile your message that life sucks didn't help me anymore. There are so many people like me who are mad and that have problems, but in your music where are you going with that message? please somebody tell me. This album fucking rocks! Marilyn Manson have done it again. I won`t take it out of my CD player. Trent plays on the album and Rave from Skinny Puppy helped produce it! My personal favorites are Little Horn, Cryptorchid, 1996, hell they all rule.
