Comments for McEntire, Reba, Starting Over

Reba's 1995 album showcased her talent in picking songs -in this case, classic covers- and molding them into outstanding emotion-packed renderings. "Ring on Her Finger, Time on Her Hands" and "On My Own" are standouts (Reba and her staff must also think so as these were the first two singles off of the album) but I think the whole album is great.

Her horrendous take on the Supremes'' "You Keep me Hanging On" is mind-numbingly bad; and with regard to "You''re No Good," Linda Ronstadt should sue!
