Comments for Meat Beat Manifesto, Storm The StudioE-MAIL: obadiah@wam.umd.edu No doubt, best meat beat ever. Classic album. Crazy crazy crazy sound. Phencycline represent.E-MAIL: jens_iwarson@se.ibm.com Ten years of Meat Beat is worth to acknowledge. Jack Dangers still takes still takes his music way out into unventured turf, which is worth a truckload of respect. I started out with Strap Down 12" and was hooked at once. Add to this, the fury of Storm the Studio, and there was no turning back. Including the rest of the masterworks of Meat Beat Manifesto and all the brilliant remix-jobs done elsewhere ( Shamen''s Ebeneezer Goode !!! ), You''d have to be deaf not to be able to enjoy some or all of the splendid music. Because: It''s the music... Meat Beat started out playing at Acid House parties witha set just over twelve minutes long, with emphasis onchoreography and visuals as much as the music. Apparently the tapes for Meat Beat`s debut were lost in a fire, and they instead substantially remixed their earliersingles to album length. As a result, this album containssome of the wildest production you`re likely to hear.Especially recommended is "Strap Down Part 1".Comments supplied by users do not necessarily reflect the opinions of Roadkill Consulting, Inc. |
