Comments for Arrested Development, Unplugged

Actually an improvement over their debut album, this one swings along very nicely up until the instrumental tracks. I had expected some well thought-out arrangements of the tunes, and was shocked to find they were just redubs of the same titles that appear earlier on the album with the vocal tracks left out. -And to make matters much worse, There is a considerable amount of vocals bleeding into the other tracks, so that you can actually still make them out! I don't see why they felt the need to include these tunes. They only serve to weaken what I found to be a very impressive album up to that point. My recommendation: BUY THIS ALBUM.... but don't waste your time with the instrumental tracks -your time would be much better spent going back and listening to the beautiful version of Mr Wendall again!

The album consists of songs off the MTV UNPLUGGED concert of songs by Arrested Development. There were few songs so there is bound to be repetition. As the songs that are on this album are on the previous 3 Years... If you are not a true listener then just buy that one.
A surprisingly lackadasical effort for the group. Riding onthe heels of MTV success, this album entreats nothing newbut a few lackluster songs and a boring show. It`s onlyhere to fill in a gap until the next album.
