SUCKS!!! Bette Midler SUCKS!!! This album SUCKS!! 'BARF'!

I resent the above comment!! This person obviously does not know talent or beautiful music when they hear it. I just love this album, though it could do without the song "OH INDUSTRY"--a little too brass for me!

It's not so much that Bette Midler sucks, just that she has freaking %&*$ed up nose-- Or was that Barabara Streisand. Who knows. Who cares. Try a papaya.

I am shocked that anyone could say anything that mean about this CD. I had never heard of Bette Midler until I heard Wind Beneath My Wings onthe radio one day, and now, almost 7 years later, I am her biggest fan. I have all of her CDs and all of her movies and believe me, if there is anyone who is qualified to determine her talent it is me. And she's incredible. Anyone who agrees with me, please e-mail me at uwa@stumail.westal.edu, and anyone who doesn't...well...that's your opinion...BUT YOU'RE WRONG!

A message for commenters #1 &2: Whether you like an artist or not, you have no class. Your comments are unintelligent and idiotic. Can't you find something else to do besides spreading negativity? Bette happens to be an all-round funny, passionate and unique performer. The Beaches album is one of many great albums for reasons which you would obviously wouldn't understand. If you don't like Bette or this album, why read the homepage? Feel free to lose your hearing listening to garbage like Nine Inch Nails.

This was my second Bette Midler album, and it is really great! I am a Bette worshiper! I saw her last concert, and I'm ready for the next! if anyone wants to chat about Bette or wants pics of her let me know! Experience the Divine! She didn't expect to look QUITE SO FABULOUS!

Just a comment on comments #1 . If you really knew what you were talking about you wouldn't have wanted to sound so ignorant (not stupid but ignorant). I have been a fan since the early 60's, seen Bette in concert 14 times, her original fan club president is a very close friend, and met her twice. There is nothing stuck up about her. You have your money's worth before the first half of a concert is over. ABSOLUTELY NO ONE exhibits as much emotion or talent. Find the facts before you look so ignorant next time!!!!!!

Comments 1 & 3 are showing their musical taste and lack of abilities to assertain a good sound and talent when they hear. Personally, I think that Bette is the biggest and best talent that has ever hit the music, comidic, or big screen ever. She has been able to present some of the most abbrasive subjects with an element of class, that only Bette could pull off. Some how she has been able to capture some of our very own emotions and put them to music... ''Stay with me Baby'' or ''The Rose'' or ''When a Man Loves a Woman'' (Michael Bolton, or NOBODY else can do it with the same emotion that Bette does it.... is there anyone who can compare?). Or one of my all time personal favs ''***k if they can''t take a joke'' (in her old days)... has helped me deal with many difficult people over the years. Some how she can pull it off with such class. And that''s what Bette truly is "CLASSY". Think about her career... look at the work she has done. She has overcome!! And she has done it with class, dignity and character .... How many of us can say that?????

Bette Midler REALLY sucks. The music sucks. And the movie is the worst piece of crap I've ever watched. I actually watched it to laugh at how awful it was.

Oh my God... I've never even seen this sucky, sucky film/album, and I can tell just from the fans that it completely blows elephant penis. Maybe I just have an inability to 'assertain' good films, or quality 'comidic' moments, but I'm going to stick with my gut instinct and say it blows hard.

Bette Midler picks her butt and sniffs her fingers. Then she licks 'em.
