Chloe Dancer/Crown of Thorns is one of the most amazing songs ever written! Green River "Come on Down" disk is mediocre. Haven't seen a Malfunkshun disk. One interesting note: At a recent Candlebox concert in NYC Kevin Martin stated that the group's hit son "Far Behind" was dedicated to and written with Andrew Wood in mind.

Mother Love Bone has been my favourite bands for many years, They have so many incredible songs, and Andrew Wood a legend, I would have done/given anything to see them play live, but some of my bootlegs are sometimes enough to keep me satisfied! The Malfunkshun one was rather suberb as well if you think about how old it is! Andrew's death was such an indescibably huge loss to the music business that he shall never be fogotten. Simon.

Mother Love Bone were (ARE) an amazing band. I loved Temple of the Dog's dedication to Andy. Does anyone out there know the PIANO MUSIC to CLOE DANCER/CROWN OF THORNS??? I'd really love to know.

MLB is my favorite band--I remember the night I heard Andy had died and I saw the premier of the video "Stardog Champion." That was 1990. 6 years and MLB still dominates my evry musical thought. This band fronted by singer Andrew Wood was destined to be thenext big thing out of Seattle until Andrew`s untimely death froma heroin overdose. They were a very talented group, maybe a crossbetween Queen and Aerosmith. Not entirely a "Glam" band, butAndrew sure liked to "Show". This cd is a compilation of theband`s only 2 releases, "Shine" and "Apple", both of which areout of print now. Andrew had a great voice and wrote incrediblelyrics. The band also consisted of Jeff Ament, Stone GossardBruce Fairweather, and Greg Gilmore; a few who showed up on þ"Temple of the Dog" cd, which was a tribute to Andrew Wood.Stone is currently with Pearl Jam.

By far, the most impressive offering during the late eighties/early nineties. They had a huge impact on me and bands that I played in. Love Rock Awaits You People. Will
