*** (5 star scale) Bob's departure brings a different side that no one ever heard, yet knew existed, if you know what I mean. --j.teel

One of the best albums you are going to find. If you get a chance to see Bob do his acoustic show, don't let anything stop you. scott m. sethney

Although fans of Mould's louder work with Husker Du and Sugar aren't necessarily fond of this acoustic departure, one would be hard pressed to find a more emotionally intense outing. Brilliant, for unexpected reasons.

Sinners and Their Repentances is one of the Greatest songs of all time. Bob Moulds voice is so haunting.

This is definately one of those albums to listen to in your walkman when you can't get to sleep. It's great feel-sorry for yourself type music. Bob's lyrics hit such an emotional nerve, it's unreal.

This album very rarely leaves the side of my cd player. In fact, I''ve got 2 copies in case one disappears. This album rocks and rocks hard in an unconventional way. Bob also pulls this off live.
