Comments for My Bloody Valentine, Ecstasy and Wine

It's hard to find, but if you do you're the best. It's an excellent album even if MBV doesn't like it themselves.

Very poppy,...even has a Byrdsy 12 string guitar twang quality to it. I like it!

This album is easily a hundred times better than I'd expected it to be.

This was the first album I heard from My Bloody Valentine and is easily still my favorite after hearing the other albums. I can't believe the band disclaims this one, its more primitive and jangly than later releases but essential in understanding their development.

mm-hmm... there''s some interesting 60ish pop on here, but with the guitar noise to "modernize" it. first mbv song i heard was Strawberry Wine.... this album is a TAD bit too boring for me, i prefer Loveless and the Untitled EPs.... but i absolutely love Never Say Goodbye.... mm-hmm...
Combines two early EPs: "Strawberry Wine" and "Ecstasy".Jangly guitars and heavy on the treble, with occasionally loud feedback-fuzz.The group has disowned this album and attempted to recall all pressed copies, but it has since been reissued. A fine and worthwhile album.
