Aside from all the cliches and everything, this is a killer album. the hits are great but Drain You and Lounge Act are unbelievable songs. This is definitely one of the best all around albums to come out in a long time

What can I really say about this album that hasnt already been said? Territorial Pissings is an amazing song and since my band uses it as a closer, its lots of fun ta make noise after. This album has more emotion attached to it than any other I have I believe. U cant go thru a single song w/o getting some sort of feeling, of course most songs like Breed, TP, Drain You, Endless Nameless, SLTS, and Lounge Act are jes fuckin killer songs that rock like all hell comin alive! I think we all miss Kurt, but this album and the unplugged make me miss him the most I think.

It is a fantastic album, but it has plenty of duds. I was really glad at the time that an 'underground' band could have a hit record, and the record was even really good. But since then, I don't know, all the Nirvana worship is just as vapid as the Bon Jovi worship that preceded it. Punk, punk, punk... A sad ending to the whole story; flogged a little more every day until the end of time.

When you first listen to this album, or any other Nirvana albums, you don't realize how good it is. Anybody that gives them a try realizes they are one of the best and most influential bands ever. Anybody that doesn't like them is just ignorant.

This is a great album from a great band whose influences are well documented. However, I detect a huge Marillion influence, particularly the "Heart of Lothian", which I believe Kurt borrows from liberally in Nevermind's "Smells Like Teen Spirit." Heart of Lothian--catch the Fever!

This is the most impressive,awesome,fantastic album to ever be shown in the front of any mans eyes.Nirvana is the best band that ever appeared,in any senses,and there wont be anyone to come even close to what Kurt,Krist and Dave represents to the world not only in alternative music,but in music in general.There wont be any album again,not even in the next 200 centuries,to make the powerfull impact this ones makes every time you hear it,even if its the first or 1000th time youre hearing it.Anyone that have slightly identification with Rock,Punk,Alternative or Hard Core have what it takes to enjoy this album to the max. An o.k. album, but too commercial and poppy for me. It has high points in Come As You Are, Breed, and Lounge Act. Smells Like Teen Spirit is getting very old, people think that it is the only Nirvana song but there is far greater songs than this, like If You Must (on Outcesticide).

This album is now somewhat legendary as the album that "turned rock around" and started the "Seattle sound". But cliches aside, it`s just really good, catchy rock. And give it more than one listen, it takes a while to sink in.

It's so ridiculous,this band only had one low quality hit (a party-song for low minded people). If kurt wouldn't killed himself,nobody wouldn't remember them today (because they were just a band who had one (low quality) hit! bullshit!
