Although i was pissed off at myself for getting this c.d. because it was basically making money off his death (as it was released after his death and not prior to) i'm glad i got it, especially for the song where did you sleep last night,(there is an article floating around somewhere about that song, you should read it,) oh yeah and i liked pennyroal tea(but thats on.... well another of the c.d.'s incesticide i think.... odyssey/ nin

i was mad at myself too. The cover is even cheaply made so they could get as much money off it as they could. but the songs are excellent. i like it because it is different. He messes up on pennyroyal tea.. classic.

Everyone likes this album. But they only like "this album".

The reason its so powerful with accoustic instruments is that Kurt is one of only a few musicians I know that can really convey emotion like that in a song. Especially Where did you sleep, and All apologies

This album kicks ass. I especially like the versions of "Where did you Sleep Last Night" and "Man Who Sold the World"---even though some people think it's only a cover tune, the way he performed it just rocked.

What a fantastic album.I've never ever seen Kurt doing what he's best at with so much entusiasm,inspiration,creativity, and so on.I really mean it.His drepessed image was somewhat changed in the best acoustic ever.Yes,it was the best acoustic,and I'm not saying that because I love Nirvana so much.In this album,much more than in anyone else,I've noticied how good a guitarrist Kurt was.Perhaps my choice for best music on the album is Dumb,played marvelously with the addiction of the cello.But penyroyal tea,the song that was one of Kurt's fave,was really awesome.And so was all of the Vaselines and MeatPuppets covers. For all the ones who call themselves fans of Nirvana but only like the death yelling rock that Kurt do so well:FUCK YOU ALL!

Could very well be the best unplugged set ever.

This may well be one of the best C.D.'s I have ever heard. "Lake of Fire", "Plateau", "Where Did You Sleep Last Night", "The Man Who Sold the World", and "Dumb" are especially great. Too bad that Kurt is dead. Just as well though. It sounds bad, but it isn't. He was the greatest of our time. Its good that we can remember him for that instead of watching him make a horrible comeback when he's 50 like some other bands. He was awesome.
