Comments for Numan, Gary, OutlandE-MAIL: scaszatt@aol.com This album, unfortunately, was deleted when Gary lost his recording contract with I.R.S. It's not one of Gary's best, but it's interesting nonetheless. Hunt down Gary's 1994 SACRIFICE album for Gary at his best.E-MAIL: mal@dives.dungeon.com The album was one of his more self indulgent projects. It took me a while to get to like it, then I was hooked. The "intervals" are a fairly pointless low whilst Dream Killers, the undoubted high, should feature on any "Best of Gary" Album.E-MAIL: dominic@dborg.freeserve.co.uk i unfortunatly had this c.d nicked,so if anyone know''s where i can get a replacment i would be very greatful. Very Dark, Dance Oriented Album, Many Samplesamandalear@aol.com the 3 ballads are the best... Though I love this album, It was somewhat an attempt to jump on the "Jam and Lewis" funk fad. Rumor has it that the finished project was actually the third mix of the album. Numan kept banging out the tracks and Miles Copland kept sending him back to the drawing board. This would be a much cooler album if Numan had complete control of the production. Nonetheless as some Numan fan's scoff this disc, I find it a fun listen and am never dissapointed with it. If you liked the vibe of Janet Jackson's single "Rhythm Nation" than 'Outland' is right up your alleyComments supplied by users do not necessarily reflect the opinions of Roadkill Consulting, Inc. |
