One of the most beautiful albums every. The aesthetics in the singers voices are entrancing to say the least. on songs like the mild alternative hit bury my lovely and return to me as well as all the rest of the tracks, the group displays its power for sweet and profound pop music.

Definitely the best debut album I came across in the last 5 years! The music has a special charm which you can't escape -even if you wanted to, but hey, you certainly won't. I couldn't believe this is a US-band: It sounds much more like a Scottish or Irish inspired group. Either way: It's a perfect mixture of pop, folk and a dip of rock. This album makes appetite for the next one!

Mary Fahl has one of the most haunting voices in contemporary music, and this first album by October Project surrounds her with a sound that is at once rock-based and orchestral. Add gorgeous lyrics that flow like poetry, and you have one of the most original and beautiful rock albums in recent years.

An AMAZING album. I received a promo version with the two hits -- "Bury My Lovely" and "Return to Me", and I made sure I was at the store the day it officially came out. You don't listen to this music, you DEVOUR it. GET THIS ALBUM!!

This album is a definite 10. No doubt in my mind or anyone else's that I've introduced it to. Beautifully written and composed. "Where you are" is an absolute masterpiece!

This disc has a permanent home in my cd player - one of the best sounding groups to come along in a while.

Despite their demise in 1996, October Project will live in my heart forever. I want to be buried with this CD. Ive listened to it EVERYDAY for the past year and a half, and I never grow tired of it.

Can''t believe this group wasn''t more popular. This group''s music attracts me like no other I''ve heard. A real sorrow that they are not recording. I''d like to know if the lead singer is involved with another group. Is there another group with comparable lyrics and sound, if they exist, I''d like to know. Simply, the best music. There isn''t a single song that I simply donot love.
