Buy this. Buy this. BUY THIS ! Definitely his best album. Well, tied first with a few others. One solid hour of unflagging brilliance. Idea after idea jumps out and says "Cop this, matey. Whaddya think of that !?" And buy a new stereo to hear it on. It's an absolutely fascinating album. Brian Smith

Really a masterpiece. You can hardly listen to a suite as full of musical substance as this. Changes of rhythm and style, reprises, hypnotic chants and percussions, lots of instruments played, an "endless" sequence of "finali"... Great Mike ! Guglielmo Lacorata

Yes, my predecessors are fully right. This is Mike's best album, definitely. With each hearing, you discover new details of Mike's incredible musical world. Due to the fact, that it's a one-part-piece, I can't say, track .. or .. is my favourite, but the last quarter is the best piece of music I've ever heard. Just turn on your hi-fi with a high volume level, and you will be blown away by the stunning percussion, vocals and, certainly, by Mike's guitars and tubular bells.

A refreshing surprise after bearing "Islands" and "Earth Moving" (where did the instrumentals go??). To my ear, this is the recent album which most resembles "Tubular Bells", as Mike isn't relying on a band and he keeps the synthesizers to a minimum. I especially like the part in the first half that sounds a little classical, featuring some amazing double-speed bass and guitar. Good work, Mr. Oldfield.

At first, it looks like the weirdest thing ever played. Then, it blows your mind, your stereo and keeps on doing that every time you want. (Carlos Martínez).

Incredible piece of work. This album makes you want to sit in one place for the duration, with the volume way up. The better the stereo, the better your understanding of this fantastic piece, however, that will change the next time you listen to it.

Yes, this album is a masterpiece, and it may be Oldfield's best along with Ommadawn and TB2. Like most of his albums, it has to grow on you because on first listen it sounds very odd to say the least! But once you get to know it it is like nothing you've ever heard before. A must for any Oldfield fan.

It's simply a fantastic album!!! Lots of great music and instrumental stuff!!!. If you are Mike's fan you'll enjoy listening to it, however it isn't pop and plesant music, you just have to get used to it, than you'll love it.

Hands down, Mike's most brilliant and enjoyable album.

Mike's unknown masterpiece, this piece is both playful and demanding. The endings are Africa I, Africa II and Africa III. Listen to the first with a copy of the morse code in front of you, the second after a hard day at work and the third when you've died and gone to heaven. Some people whinge about the lack of indexing. I don't. A piece of music that must be listened to in one continuous and UNINTERRUPTED session.

UNA PASADA. AL PRINCIPIO CUANDO LO OYES PARECE QUE MIKE OLDFIELD SE HA VUELTO LOCO, PORQUE APARECEN RUIDOS DE UNA ESPECIE DE RANAS, ALGUIEN CEPILLANDOSE LOS DIENTES, ROMPER UN CRISTAL, FUEGOS ARTIFICIALES, UN MONSTRUO GRUÑENDO, UN TELEFONO, PERO LUEGO TODO ES UNA OBRA MAESTRA. UN 10
