Comments for Bachman-Turner Overdrive, Street Action

Madison Avenue is a classic. With Street Action now deleted, we can only hope it appears on a future compilation.

This album is so absolutely horrible! I barely remember it. BTO was my first "favorite" rock group, but, let's face it, Randy's guitar and Randy's and C.F.'s vocals really carried the music. Without Randy, I don't know why they bothered.

This is not their best album, but it does have its strong points. I didn''t think that Jim''s voice fitted what BTO really was all about, but Fred sounded great on the tracks he sung. I have it on vinyl and am looking for it on CD to complete my collection; it is better than a lot of rock being released these days. I also would like to know if Bachman-Turner Bachman II as Brave Belt came out on CD. A cool BTO web-site is: http://home1.swipnet.se/~w-15184/bto.html The BTO import Trial by Fire is not bad, but Not Fragile is still their best!!! It is the Maximum Overdrive. Larry
C.F. Turner and Jim Clench doing vocals on this one.Randy Bachman not on album.Great acoustic guitar on track 7.

this a great cd i bought it the first day it came out in march of 1978, today 2005 it's stil my most played cd. each track is well crafted, i love bto's work with randy, have since 1973, but street action is one of the most underrated albums ever .
