The CD release is much superior to the original LP. It has bonus tracks and a different arrangement of the songs that fits the story line better, and the LP version of "Rise and Fall" was not split into two parts. The story takes place in Atlantis where the people there have enjoyed a thousand years of peace and prosperity until they basically got bored so they destroyed each other. The cover art is just as fantastic as the music. It is a painting of the domed cities of Atlantis and sailboats floating in the air. A great LP and an even better CD.
