A good album, but not as good as Vulgar Display of Power. Late 80's power metal with some thrash and a touch of euro metal (a la Scorpions) added in.

I cant believe that people think that this album sucked!!! Obviously you guys aren't musicians. Otherwise, you would understand the talent these guys have. If you really want to complain about one of their albums, look at their first one, I dont know the name, but they sound like Poison!!

A great album but sometimes Phil´s voice is abit of a disappointment.

I think that this album kicks ass. Philip Anselmo shows his lyrical talent to the extreme. If you people can't accept this then you shouldn't be Pantera fans! I wish I could sing that high. This album clearly shows Pantera's musical ability! No doubt in my mind!

I've only heard two songs (live), but what I've heard makes this one of THE BEST PanterA CD's I know of... PERIOD

The first half of the album kicks ass, the rest is pussy. High pitched wailing sucks. I can get the same from Overkill.

1990: Pantera washes the makeup off, and removes the hairspray, and becomes a Thrash band! Darrell manages to shred alot on guitar and Phil manages to scream alot and yet they still can't manage to create an original metal riff! The best part of this album is the end.

I love this CD. Alot of people don''t like Phil''s high voice but oh well it takes alot of fuckin'' talent to sing that fuckin'' high. Dime''s riffs are bad ass. Vinnie''s still got the feet back then and rex''s bass is heard very well on this one. the CD that started it all (besides those stupid glam albums)
