Comments for Pavement, Wowee Zowee

It is currently October 1995 and I believe this is the album of the year so far! Most of the reviews I read were positive however they fuond the album was incompltete and loosley put together. But this is what Pavement are all about! They dont care! Best song on the album is father to a Sister Thought(which was the second single) followed by owed by the Nirvana flavoured Flux=Rad. Pavement cover a variety of styles once again on this album from country slacker rock to the mighty sounds of punk! Made it on to the Billboard music charts for one week at #117. Number 18 on the British charts. Check out the film clips for rattled by la rush and father to asister thought.

Okay, this is their best album, perhaps the best album of the decade, maybe even the best album ever made. Very good. I do not think they will be able to improve upon this work, but I look forward to hearing their attempts.

This is a great cd; if you haven't picked it up already, you'd better. All my cooler-than-thou indie rock friends hated it at first, but then said it grew on them. Maybe this means I'm not cool, but I liked it right away.
