Comments for Pearl Jam, Pearl Jam

Pearl Jam, with the help of Nirvana, destroyed the under- ground music scene in Seattle. The band was basically formed as a media creation to cash in on the newest hip trend. Some people might actually LIKE Pearl Jam, but who knows what would have happened to them had their album come out on an indie label and not had all that MTV coverage....

To say that Pearl Jam destroyed the Seattle Underground scene is to say that Denmark is kapital of Sweden. May I remind you that before Pearl Jam there was Mother Love Bone and Green River, all a part of the scene. Pearl Jam is a band which makes good music all spreds positive vibs. And we shouldn't jugde them in any ways, simply because we have no way of knowing what there were and what they are thinking. "I will ride the wave where it takes me."

Vitalogy was the only album that Pearl Jam put out that didn't find me going somewhere really cold. About two weeks after Ten came out I found myself in Greenland. About a month after Vs. came out I was on my way to Antarctica. Now Vitalogy is out and I'm in Seattle and I plan on being here till January of 96 where I can hopefully listen to their next album in Australia.

Pearl Jam has put out great music during their entire career. And I feel Vs. gives some of their best work yet. The two tracks, Betterman and Nothingman, are as far as I see it two of their best songs yet.

Pearl Jam can never be compared with bands like Dinosaur Jr., Sonic Youth, Motorpsycho, Nirvana or Pixies. This is rock n'roll liked by post fans of GN'R or Bon Jovi. It's not alternative.

Being in Pearl Jam's fan club...I was just sent two tickets to see them ALIVE at the Moore on February 5, 1995. It's an exclusive show they're putting on before taking off on tour to East Asia and Australia. Being in the fan club has some serious advantages, eh?!!!!! Righto PJ...Looking forward to a crazy night!

Eddie Vedder certainly had done wonders for the group Pearl Jam. The way he writes and sings his songs are simply marvelous. I've been a fan from the beginning, and with their latest release, Vitalogy, I will certainly continue to be. The word that best describes them simply is eccentric!

Pearl Jam is indeed one of the greatest bands of all time. Pearl Jam's music transcends all boundaries of genre. From Ten, to Vs., to Vitalogy, to the hundreds of bootlegs floating around, the band's brilliant art continues to evolve and establish their diversity. While the band may eventually break up, their music will never die.

Pearl Jam is by far the best band ever. All the fans or children of PJ is just on big family. About their albums- the best music I've ever heard. Eddie's vocals are amazing, and Stone, Mike, Jeff, and new drummer Jack Irons are fantastic. I hope they come to Minneapolis on day in the near future so I can see them.

Pearl Jam has to be the greatest thing that's ever happened to me. Music is the greatest drug and Pearl Jam is the greatest music ever. As Eddie once said, "I found a very powerful medium. Music is a way for people to come together and turn it on." Peace, love, and Pearl Jam...

Pearl Jam ja za mene najbolji GRUNGE band u povijesti glazbe.Naravno,još slušam i Nirvanu,Alice in chains,Soundgarden,Hole...Stvarno su super, pogotovo kada Vedder iskoristi sve svoje glasovne sposobnosti. NAJBOLJI SU! Davor Grgić Croatia
