Comments for Pearl Jam, Ten

E-MAIL: Sunde@fys.ku.dk
This is one mindblowing piece of music. It really gives me the good creeps. Vedder, Stone, McCready, Ament and Krusen are the the real Pearl Jam
E-MAIL: s.cislowski@jcu.edu.au
pure excellence!

The best rock album ever made !
E-MAIL: jtamboli@darwin.cc.nd.edu
Without a doubt, the best album ever made since I've been around is Ten. The way the songs flow together simply is a work of art on Eddie's part. I don't see it ever being topped!
E-MAIL: al372276@campus.mor.itesm.mx
Evenflow is the the best song of Pearl Jam`s albums. Well, I think so!
E-MAIL: rsalonen@carins.cariboo.bc.ca
The best album in the world, end of story.
E-MAIL: @usccamil:dwasserm
Well blow me down. We got ourselves a classic of infinite proportions.

When Ten first came out, I thought, "This is really good. These guys are never going to top this." I've heard the new stuff, and I was right. Boy, was I right.

Undoubtedly PJ's best album. Knocks the others into a cocked hat!
E-MAIL: MarkRamsay@AOL.COM
Has anybody ever heard of "Take That?" It's a CD (bootleg, I presume) that I saw in Denmark this sumer (1995.) The cover said that it was recorded by a fan in the audience and was not connected to PJ's label (Epic.) I sure would like to know where I could get my hands on it! Also, don't knock the other albums so bad, guys! I happen to like Vs. the best.
E-MAIL: vwdg84c@prodigy.com
Pure excellence. The best CD I've ever heard, period.

Created a new kind of excellence which is yet unmatched in any music arena.

Not only is Eddie hot, but Ten is the best album that I've heard in all the time that it has been out. Keep on rockin' guys, just try not to make another album with Neil Young. Big mistake. But I still love you guys anyway. And by the way. FU@! TIcketmaster and tour already!
E-MAIL: cyko@fro.man
This album truly is wicked. All the songs fit in together, and they sound awesome.I couldn't believe that any group could make an album like this.Pearl Jam is truly the best kind of jam out there.Eddie, keep up the good work.Good luck in the future.

This album made me see what music means. I never heard before such combination of instruments (with rythm), and the voice of Vedder is the most rich in feeling between rock bands. Ungratefuly, the guys couldnīt beat themselves with their newer cdīs.This is the first album I like to listen without forwarding it. Materpieces: "Alive", "Jeremy", "Even flow", "Oceans" and "Black". If the fellas could save the best for last... THE TRUE GHOST RIDER.
E-MAIL: jlowe@central.georcoll.on.ca
The best rock album ever? Ah, well, no...not by a longshot. Still, "Ten" stands out as one of the better American albums of the 1990s. As opposed to more recent Pearl Jam albums, on which Vedder trys too hard to fake sincerity, "Ten" seems to present a genuinely tortured soul; "Black" is a brilliant and moving song in which Vedder gives his take on the old saying "if you love something let it go". Although the album drags at times, "Alive" and "Even Flow" stand out as great examples of the genre and even the massivly overplayed "Jeremy" still manages to sound interesting. "Ten" is the only Pearl Jam album worth purchasing.

Pearl Jam's Ten is up ther with the greatest albums of all time. It rivals Dark Side of the Moon. By the way Buffalo Sucks.
E-MAIL: mdierker@osnabrueck.netsurf.de

save me from L. L. Bean
E-MAIL: rein0065@mtsu.edu
This is Pearl Jam's only good album, although it is far from the best rock album ever, of the nineties, or anything else. Best of Pearl Ja, that's it.
E-MAIL: dthomas@jinx.sckans.edu
I'll start off this way #1. The people who don't like it, have some manners. #2. The people that DO like it, have some manners. #3. I think Ten is the best thing since underwear. You people are sittin here, surfin the net doing what? Arguing over an album that some people like and some don't. This is a place for comments on albums to help people decide if they want to hear it or not. Why would people want to make that decision on this album when everybody on here just tries to make the other person wrong? If they thought that they made a good decision on the album, then that's their choice. If not, then not. Respect people's opinions. Let it go. Peace, Love, Hate, Empathy, Desire.

NOBODY UNDERSTANDS ME- I'M A HOMOSEXUAL 18 YEAR OLD COLLEGE STUDENT IN A HETEROSEXUAL WORLD. COMING OUT WITH MY DARK SECRET WAS THE WORST MISTAKE I EVER MADE. MY LOVER DOESN'T WANT TO SEE ME ANYMORE AND NO ONE LOVES ME. IS IT TOO MUCH TO ASK TO BE LOVED? MY FAMILY WON'T TALK TO ME AND MY FATHER BEAT ME UP WHEN I TOLD HIM MY SEXUAL PREFERENCE. I HAVE NOTHING TO LIVE FOR, I THINK I'M JUST GOING TO KILL MYSELF UNLESS I GET A HOT POUND OF LOVE MEAT UP MY ASS. UNTIL THEN ALL I HAVE IS MY THUMB AND MY SUICIDAL THOUGHTS TO KEEP ME GOING
E-MAIL: pg207295@oak.cats.ohiou.edu
well..ok...getting back to the album...I think there's no doubt in any alternative fan's mind that it's one of the best albums ever to be released. And that's putting it mildly. I can't think of another debut album to have as much impact on the music scene. Pearl Jam is the real thing, and if you look at nothing else, just realize what great music they put out, whether it be studio tracks or live concerts. It is simply unbelievable.

I think is a good album, not as U2 "The Jossua Tree"
E-MAIL: 99fg@williams.edu
This is a pretty amazing piece of work. (The album, that is - I'm not talking about the gratuitous remarks made above.) I happen to think Gossard and Ament deserve more of the credit for it than Vedder, though.

Quite simply, the BEST album of the nineties. Every single song is a classic and could be released as very successful singles in thier own right. The relevance of the songs Glorified G, Dissident, Rats, Daughter etc. (in fact, every song on the album!) is quite emotional and certainly gets me going. Eddie, smell me eggs, man!!! You`re great. And the rest of the lads. Smell me eggs, the lot of ya, cos I love ya!

brilliant lyrcs are exelant

A fine album. Great lyrics. The song ONCE is super. But the album Vitalogy is better.
E-MAIL: martinh@real.com.au
Thankyou Eddie and the boys! The pure joy I get from this album is worth every cent I paid for it. This is the best Album I own - And I own a few. Thankyou
E-MAIL: dcp@iwaynet.net
a difficult album to diss, frankly. this was a band that really made a lot of folk stand up and take notice back in '92, and one of the few times that the star-making apparatus on the west coast got it right. ten is every bit of the real deal - the grooves flow, the lyrics are clear and full of vision. say what you will about "jeremy", but it's simply some of the best storytelling in song that we've seen in the '90s. say what you will about "evenflow", but jams of that sort have been hard to come by since. this is a tremendous album that deserves every bit of kudos it gets.
E-MAIL: FLUFFYQ@HOTMAIL.JLOWE.IS.A.FAG.COM
ONCE AGAIN, JLOWE SHOWS HIS CONGENITAL INABILITY TO MIS- INTERPRET PEARL JAM LYRICS WITH HIS SILLY READING OF 'BLACK'. LOOK HERE, EDDIE ISN'T THE EDITOR OF READER'S DIGEST! HE WRITES PROPER SONGS! AND IF YOU FIND THIS ALBUM BORING, IT'S PROBABLY BECAUSE YOU TRIED LISTENING TO IT AS BACKGROUND MUSIC! DON'T DO THAT!! USE NIRVANA, SILVERCHAIR AND OTHER GRUNGE BANDS FOR DRIVING YOUR CAR, AND LISTEN TO ROCK ALBUMS LIKE TEN WHEN YOU'RE NOT BUSY! AS FOR CHUBER@BUCKNELL.EDU, HIS COMMENT SHOULD HAVE RESIDED ON THE NIRVANA PAGE BECAUSE ALL NIRVANA FANS ARE PERVERTS. PERHAPS HE MIGHT MEET SOMEONE THERE.
