Comments for Pearl Jam, Vitalogy

Wait a second. What the hell happened here. Maybe I'm just culturally deprived, but some of this stuff is just a little too "experimental" for me. Bugs? Foxymophandlemama? Come on Eddie! Remember it's your fans that buy the albums, and this artsy crap is not going to cut it. Of course, there are some killer tracks, like Nothingman and Courdoroy, but let's stick to the rockers and forget the other junk.

If you can't appreciate all of Pearl Jam's music, you better reconsider your claim as a Pearl Jam fan. I am the proud owner of 50 Pearl Jam CD's, including all the singles and several bootlegs, and I have yet to hear a Pearl Jam song or cover that I don't like. Peace, love, and Pearl Jam...

no doubt that "nothingman" is one of the better tracks to come out of the ''90s, per se. "Vitalogy" proves that Pearl Jam have achieved what most of their contemporaries have not: their own inimitable, yet flexible, style.
