Comments for Petra, No Doubt

The worst album by Petra ever(spare for Wake-Up Call) These guys are just old fellows who should've retired when their great singer Greg X Wolz left the band. (Shlitt's "Unfit..." seems kind of good though.

I'm sorry, but as a Christian I find that these guys just don't contribute to this music genre in any significant way. When I consider an album like "Pop" from U2, or "The Joshua Tree" where they ask REAL questions of God, searching for Him, yet not feeling like they have quite achieved peace in this world (e.g., I Still Haven't Found What I'm Looking For) I cringe when I hear Petra. They name an album "No Doubt", tey the Bible is full of godly people who had doubt and God still blessed them. Jesus had mercy on the man who cried "I believe Lord, help me in my unbelief". Now Petra thinks that faith is so easy and we can just bask in the rays of our easy theology. This is what U2 sings about in "Staring at the Sun"; this inability to wrestle with God, like David does in Psalm 44 or Psalm 88. Is God not big enough to take it?

WHAT IS THE PROBLEM THIS ALBUM SOUNDS GREAT! A SOLID EFFORT FROM BEGINNING TO END. LETS NOT GET ALL UP TIGHT ABOUT PARTICULARS WITH BAND LETS ENJOY GREAT TUNES WITH A POSSITIVE MESSAGE SOME PEOPLE!!!

These is the best album i own it is called petra no doubt.Man i wish i can meat this band there my favorite temporary music.I would like to meat em anyday.I hope GOD will let me meat them.

The comment from r.knetsch@utoronto.ca proves that heīs just negative, the person behind the e-mail adress didnīt even take a look at the text of no doubt, the lyrics opens with -"There are times when you feel like you canīt go on" and the end of the chorus.. -"After all is done we find out and all we need to have is NO DOUBT" All they say is that everybody does have doubt sometimes and ecourige us to go on anyway. So sad with people, espessially chistians, who donīt make the diff. between what thay personaly donīt like and whatīs a great messege.
