Comments for Petra, War & Remembrance v.2

You should also remember that John Schlitt had also previous -ly been with the secular band Head East and was pretty messed up at the time that he met Bob Hartman. For some people, that means EXPERIENCE. He's been around for awhile and knows what the younger crowd like.

If you enjoy this album, consider vol. 1- 1974-1985, as well.
Volume 2 of the "best of" collection. Most of the songs hereare from the bands radio-oriented period when John Schlitt was vocalist. His voice has a teenage quality that I`m sure appeals toyoung Christian teens. Also, lyrically the songs are less maturethan on volume one. Gems such as "Whole World" and "All Fired Up"justify owning it, however.
