Love "You Don't Know How It Feels"
E-MAIL: jtodd@umr.edu
Hey Tom, I know how it feels!
E-MAIL: ibirkner@knox.edu
this album is a heckuva a lot more mellow than his other recent stuff.
E-MAIL: rsalonen@carins.cariboo.bc.ca
I would have to agree on this album being more mellow, with the exception of one track: "You Wreck Me" This is the best song on the album, it is pure rock with unreal guitar riffs and a solid beat, also outstanding vocals. Also worthy of note are "You Don't Know How it Feels" and "Honey Bee" and "A higher place". These tracks are all definate Tom Petty Rock! I can't wait until the concert in Vancouver!! "Let me get to the point, let's roll another joint"

This was quite simply the best album of 1994. Honey Bee, You Wreck Me, etc, etc. all great, great songs. Tom's lyrics aren't too shabby either....

Wildflowers is a great album! It's different in many respects to any of his other stuff. Yes it is mellow, but that's good. He's never done an album like this before. I hope that he does another album that just rocks, too. But for all of you who don't know what Tom Petty and the Heart- breakers are really about I encourage you to listen to all of his 11 albums. They're all great! I've got them all and am glad I did. I'm going to see him live for the first time and I'm very excited!

It took a few listenings, but I love this album and I believe some of these songs were written especially for me! Thanks!!! GO SEE Tom in concert, he is one of the best live performers, and I have seen a lot...by the way, if anybody has a schedule for this tour, could you get in touch?

Your program is AUSOME!!! It would be really cool if you could put how to play some of these songs on guitar in it. I would constantly be on it Thanx Jeff Azoudis I am new on the net and I THINK this is my E-Mail address

I'm suprised nobody mentioned "To Find A Friend", that is , my favorite song on the album. For all you who didn't like the mellow type songs as much, don't worry! I read in rolling Stone that Tom said his next album would be "a real rock & roll album, you know, an album of all fast songs . A big, loud one." Cool.

A rather overlong record at fifteen tracks. Tom's best albums (Southern Accents, Hard Promises) were always shorter ones and he should have done some better editing here. Still, there are several good songs here. Wake Up Time is the one real gem that comes out of the batch.

This is one of the few albums that I loved after hearing it the very first time. All the songs are great, mellow or not, but I especially like "Honey Bee".

The album is a classic. To hear him sing "Crawling Back to You" is just great. Some upbeat songs and some mellow ones too. It just rocks.

I bought this album recently after purchasing "Full Moon Fever" and "Greatest Hits" and this is the album that sent me straight to love every single Tom Petty or Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers songs. Thanks A lot Tom. He''s made a huge impact on my life and because of him, it has inspired me to be in the band that I am in now.
