Comments for Phish, Billy Breathes

They're just a bunch of Grateful Dead wannabes.

I didn't really like it much at first. More mellow than their other albums, but the more I listen, the more I like it.

I hadn't really been exposed to Phish beofre this album...when I had heard them in the past it was like too Frank Zappa like for my taste. On this album however there are some real gems. These guys have serious talent.

Billy was our next door neighbor....m-hmm....he had a job as a lawn boy.....m-hmm.....he would cut any vacuum the grass.....m-hmm.....some people call it mowing the lawn, I call it cutting and vacuuming the grass....m-hmm....one day it was lunchtime, I thought Billy went to the frosty shake for a burger and fried taters.....m-hmm.....I went into the house to get some biscuits and mustard....m-hmm....my mama wasn't in the kitchen.....m-hmm......I heard strange noises and went upstairs......m-hmm......I saw Billy lying on top of my mama naked......m-hmm........I went to the CD cabinet and got a piece of crap.....some people call it a phish CD, I call it a piece of crap.....m-hmm.....I took the end of that CD and hit Billy upside the head with it 2 times....m-hmm....the 2nd time, I nearly severed it off of the rest of his body.....m-hmm.....Billy wasn't breathing anymore.....m-hmm.

An awesome album.. an awesome band.

Excellent new work from the boys. A little more slick then we`e used to, but nonetheless an excellent album on par with Rift and Hoist.

it wasn't quite what i had expected because it's a little down, for phish... but if you really listen to it closely, and to the lyrics, it's really amazing, as is all their music.
