Comments for Pink Floyd, More (Original Motion Picture Soundtrack)

Simply the best PF album ever. It's something about the mood of it. Minimalistic and excessive at the same time.

Some of their greatest songs are on this album. The whole of what used to be side one is thrilling, changing from magical to hardrocking to experimental to psychedelic and all blissful and offering their superb vocals. Side two is atmospheric with reprises of the elements from side one, but mostly instrumental and serving to give you images behind your closed eyes. Film music pure sang but not boring at all. Yet this last aspect witholds the album from ranking as their best. But it is their most lyrical and may take a very warm place in a heart open for beauty.
