A good buy for someone who's looking to see what all the buzz is about. Dolittle is the Pixies first foray into carefully produced music and it has a little spot reserved for it in alt-rock history. Named by New Music Express as the 2nd best album of all time, (overkill?) Dolittle contains a lot of classic Pixies tracks and, IMHO only two duds... Loverings "La La Love You," and Deal's "Silver." A great album that transcends classification, from raucous alt rock "Debaser" to Pop "Here Comes Your Man" to straight up Punk "Crackity Jones" or "Tame." Dolittle is an absolute must have for fans of alt rock.
