Don't miss "Hang wire"

This is an odd album. It certainly has its share of classics, such as Velouria, Hang Wire, Stormy Weather, Dig For Fire, and Allison, but the is the only Pixies album that had bad songs. There are more than one or two that just do not belong. Still much better than most albums out there

This record by the Pixies wasn't their best (Surfer Rosa) but it's also not thier worst (Trompe le Monde). More than a few great songs here. Check out "Rock Music", "Cecilia Ann" and "Alison" for some of the best this band offerred.

THE must-have Pixies album...Has a little bit of everything, good for the beginning Pixies listener. Highly recommended.

The Pixies have a way of touching people who either love the softer side of rock or the people who love the anarchist fuck this side of life. This album should appeal to all others who fall between.:)

An highly overrated album, this one. The only flaw in their excellent career, yet for some reason memorized as classic. This is NOT an landmark album, but an album on which half of the songs are plain bad. The fact that the other half still is really good, can only be expected of a band as good as the Pixies. Trompe Le Monde certainly is NOT worse than this one.

I never heard of the Pixies. Made a believer out of me. Havalina, Havalina, I see you.

I don't really believe that the pixies ever had a BAD album, but this is definitely the one that gets the least listens from this pixies nut. The album is overproduced and generally very pop oriented... it has it's moments but never quite reaches the genius level of other albums. It seems more like an edgy U2 album than a Pixies album.
