Why the hell should George Bush "check out" the last track?!! We didn't write that song about him!!!!

George Bush or no George Bush, this is a pretty good album. Not quite as groundbreaking as some of their older stuff, and certainly can't compare with Stranger than Fiction, but it's really worth the money. "American Jesus" is one of my favorite BR songs of all time.

Possibly the worst of all of Bad Religion''s repertoire, _Recipe_For_Hate_ combines inexplicable "celebrity" guest appearances of Eddie Vedder and Johnette Napolitano (sp?) with stunningly sub-par songwriting and arrangements, especially with reference to the band''s earlier works. Lyrically the record is as potent as ever; Bad Religion''s only constant seems to be in the realm of the textual, though forays into indulgence and obtuse lyrical opacities are certainly not infrequent. Fans of this record should fasten seat belts and wear safety helmets before listening to _Agaisnt_The_Grain._

The best Bad Religion album there is (to my humble opinion).The lyrics are incredibly effective.
