This certainly is not one of Elvis' best albums, but he still did a great job with the songs that he did sing! It is a shame that in todays society, a singer can barly make it, if he is lucky, singing out of his normal style. Elvis has accomplished that in this album in a slight way. I think it is great!!

Don't you know, this is only a collectors album put out by the hilarious BMG/RCA? Instead you should check out "Elvis Country" from 1971, "Today" from 1975 or "Moody Blue" from 1977. But his best albums from the seventies was "That's The Way It Is" from 1970 and "On Stage" from 1971.

This album consists of a few sloppily-edited tracks from the original "Elvis Country" album from 1971, along with material from two posthumously-overdubbed albums ("Guitar Man" and "I Was The One") from the ''80s. Seek out the original "Elvis Country" album instead... be sure to get catalog number 66279.
