This album reminds me of the new technologi that have been inventted this seenturyy. The record beets all kinds of other cheap made music. The latest years we have seen to much of this. I would say it is cool!!!

I HAVE THE ALBUM AND I REALLY LOVE IT! THE SONGS ARE VERY ROMANTIC AND ARTISTIC!!

Not the best thing from Prince, but good- "Cream" is so sexy I can barely stand thinking about it.

Prince is a totally idiosyncratic artist who at many times has been willing to adapt to trends. With Diamonds and Pearls he dives into the genre of early 90's dance pop which is not one of the greatest musical genres. However, its to his credit that he once again beats the genres regulars (MC Hammer, Paula Abdoul) at their own game. While far from being his best record, it does contain some great tracks like Walk Don't Walk, Cream, Daddy Pop and Thunder.

Mr. Fairall, Prince is not MC Hammer or Paula Abdul, they' re not the same sport, even not the same fu++ing playground!!! It is the same stupidity if I say that U2 are the same as Phil Collins. Prince is a real genious original artist with his own style and things 2 tell. He' s still 2O years in a front of today' s music!!! How could U even try 2 put him in the same box where these commercial minipopstars with no invention as Hammer or Abdul are??? DonĄt get it!!! Diamods and pearls are little bit more into the mainstream than other Prince's records but what a music!!! Money don' t matter 2 night is my favourite, Live for love is a real hammer!!! It¨s a compactibile serious good inventional album full of everything!!

This CD is one of the best, if you let yourself go and enjoy the beats. in fact all of his record, albums cds are excellent.
