No. 3 Was a Huge Let Down to the Rest of the Album, Which was Just as Good as the First one - Excellent!!

Keep on taking the E's boys. As plinky-plonk goes (which isn't far in my book) this is probably the best so far

Slow? A track don't have to be fast for it to rock! If you want it faster, go listen to Hardfloor/Jeff Mills/ Luke Slater. This album was one of the best from 1994. Superb sounds, great harmonies, an kickin' drums! Even if you don't really like techno, chances are there'll at least one track that you adore. What a great LP!! Go trash your sofa NOW!!!!

Sorry folx, but I thought this was a huge let-down after Experience. Track 4 was the only decent song... Just my opinion.

Excellent, though it doesn't hold together as well as the first one. If someone doesn't option "Speedway" as the soundtrack for a VR racing simulator, I will. Also, I have it on good authority that the "Voodoo People" guitar sample is from Nirvana's "Very Ape" - can anyone comfirm or deny? Nice Beastie Boys drums on "Poison" - am I the only person who found the "Rat Poison" remix a bit of a letdown? Overall, despite a self-indulgent stallout here and there, worth buying.

Excellent album... hard as nails, just not as fast as some earlier Prodigy stuff.

Great album....except for track 3....I especially like the Narcotic suite.

For all those who feel a let down, and add in there put downs, I would like one of u do half the job as that of Liam. I think the album is just as amazing as anything else done, I also like that fact that he blended old styles with new. As always I am amazed at the work that is pulled of by him.

Way to go Prodigy ! Though this isn't quite techno, it's breakbeat..slow ?!? I wouldn't call "No Good [Start The Dance] slow and un-danceable even if I had a gun pointed at my head. Overall though this is one of the three best albums of 94, and still one of the best around. From the raving "voodoo people" to the rap-like "poison" and goin' further down the lane with "speedway" it continues with one of the best dance tracks ever, "No Good[start the dance] and ends with the narcotic inspired(?) "Skylined". Yeah, I was dissapointed with "Rat Poison" as well, but on the singles you can find some stuff that really should've made it to the album, for example "Rythm of Life" from the "one love" singel and "scienide" from the "poison" singel. If you don't allready have this CD, RUSH out and buy it, it's really worth every penny ! [Can't wait til' Prodigy's next album which's to come in spring 96...]

I'm not a techno (rave?) fan - I prefer hardcore, G-rap, grunge, etc but this CD smashes !! I =had=to= buy it ! Tracks "Poison" or "Voodoo People" are right there between Body Count, Rage Against The Machine, Clawfinger, Ice-T, Faith No More etc. tracks when we have a party, and they're great to dance. They are hard enough to play'em in the hardcore/hardrock club where I go on Fridays - the DJ fixes Prodigy as soon as you ask for it. And when I wanna relax - I start the CD from #11...

Prodigy goes Jamiroquai? Not as good to dance as 'Experience' Still one of 'must-have's. (Finns rave higher)

Try to buy Voodoo people (single track) and you will hear the very right music (especially No. 2 track), cause Experience, Music for the ........ are shits against these incredible single. Bye Honeys!

Music for the Jilted Generation is as good as a record possibly can get! Itīs better than Experience (which Liam himself admits) and you never grow bored of it. I usually buy a record and listen to it for a week or two and then stop because I just canīt stand it anymore. But I have now listened to MfJG for three years (now and then ofcourse) and it still remains one of my favourite records of all time (and there ainīt too many of them, mate!). 3 Kilos is nice and funky...
Very different from "Experience".Not bad though, just relativly slow.
