Comments for Bad Religion, The Gray Race

Finally, after some impostors released Stranger Than Fiction and Recipe For Hate, Bad Religion is back again. Some really good songwriting, proving that Greg Graffin can really pull this off without Brett, and maybe always could. I just wish Jay Bentley (bass) hadn't slowed down so much. "Cease" would make an amazing show closer.

I have gained some respect for these former punk-rockers since listening to "The Grey Race". With the production efforts of Ric Ocasek (Cars) leading the way, this band comes dangerously close to a mainstream sound, quite a welcome change from their previous incoherent recordings. Hopefully the band will maintain this change of direction in the future. "Cease" really is a great song. Bravo!

this album sucks! i think that BR could go back to their old style, like: no control, suffer, against the grain. HARDCORE GABBER RULES!!!!!!!
First Bad Religion release without co-founder/guitarist Mr.Brett. Great CD! Sounds a little different from theirprevious stuff.
