Prong is as heavy as the day is long. They just keep getting better! This album marked another turning point for the group, heading to uncharted musical territory: Heavy dance, I call it. Their lastest, Rude Awakening, expands on this direction. Cleansing is just so brutal! Broken piece and Out of This Misery make statements for heavy dance that can't be denied. You gotta groove to those tunes. I love this band. Just saw them at the Rub in Tampa. Totally slammin'! Buy any Prong album you see.

I have seen Prong twice in Nashville,TN about three years ago. They were truly fucking awesome, especially when they performed at 328 MUSIC HALL in which I was practically on the stage. I didn,t take my wife to that concert, lucky for her, I came home with a black eye and no shirt. "I LOVED IT". Do you know when Prong will be in the Nashville area again, because I'm ready to kick some ass. Thank You, Joey Cinelli

I saw Prong when they opened up for White Zombie in Omaha back when Cleansing was first released. I had never heard of the and drove a 100 miles to see Zombie. This night I will never forget for two reasons; It was so fucking cold that 5 minute outside would make your ears crack if touched and the other was Prong, they totally stole the show, I didn''t know they were some fucking power groove slam band. That was one of the best shows I had ever seen and it was due to the opening act not Mr. Zombie. Not knocking Rob''s band I''m only saying that cold night they got blown off the stage. PRONG RULES ALL!!!! Tommy Sioux City, Iowa
Killing Joke bassis Paul Raven joined at this point, along with keyboardist Geordie Bechdel (adding some of the "industrial" flavor that the band previously professed to hate, but I think they were talking about the garbage dance product we ALL hate)... and the result is one of the best albums of the year in practically any category. "Whose Fist Is This Anyway?" is like an anthem for a nation that doesn`t exist yet; "Snap Your Fingers Snap Your Neck" is lower, uglier, and meaner than anything else around; "Test" comes on like Chrome transmuted through a firing squad. Swallow whole.
