what can i say, this is the first anita baker album i own and have listened to regularly for the last ten years (wow! has it really been that long?). one of the albums that influenced my LIFE! i have a question: about six years ago, i heard a version of 'you bring me joy' on the radio, but did not get to find out who sang it. does anybody out there know of any other recorded versions of this song? my favorite track from 'rapture' (besides 'sweet love', which is one of my ALL TIME favorites) is 'been so long' - this song reminds me of some of the really passionate (and technically incredible) singing anita did in THE SONGSTRESS. . .
