I also feel that this is Rush's best album ever. Even though their playing style may have changed some over the years, their their songwriting abiliy is still top-notch, and you can take that to the bank!

I also agree. This is definately one of their best albums released ever. I also really love listening to Hemispheres. I was wondering if you could send me some information on all of the albums that are demos or interviews or bootlegs. I'd really appreciate this. THanks, THE PODZ

C'est le premier album de Rush que je me suis acheter et c'est selon moi un immortel. Après 14 ans je l'écoute avec autant de plaisir. Une excellente chanson de cet album est "Red Barchetta" Je décolle littéralement à chaque fois.

Tom Sawyer is the GREATEST SONG OF ALL TIME!!!!!!!!!!!

This is another great disc! Some people consider it Rush's greatest- I disagree!! Although it may be considered Rush's best "middle period" studio album, it is my fifth favorite Rush cd and my 27th favorite cd overall!! So many great songs on this disc, but my favorites are: "The Camera Eye," "Limelight" and "Vital Signs!" "Vital Signs" seems to represent- the "Rush" to come, not the "Rush" of the past!! The three songs- "Tom Sawyer," "YYZ" and "Red Barchetta" are superb, but they are enhanced by the version on "ESL!" "Limelight" is another great song, and I feel that if Rush had replaced "BB&B" from "ESL" with "Limelight;" then "ESL" would have been absolutely perfect!! The one song that I do not love as much as the others is "Witch Hunt!" Although, it is a great song; I still do not consider it among my favorites!! Overall, a 9/10 for this superb disc!!!

The "Tom Sawyer" CD. A dual edge sword. Every song is perfection, but I would expect Rush is sick of playing side 1 of this CD every single night for those casual fans, eating up time in which we could hear something different. The beginning(or end) of the FEAR TRILOGY! (The Enemy Within, The Weapon,+) Witch Hunt starts here. I saw them play all 3 in the proper order on a video- Grace Tour(forget the name.) Wish I could find that Vid now!

I think this is Rush''s greatest album as well as one of the best ever. There isn''t a single song i dislike, but Red Barchetta and the grammy nominee YYZ are my favorites. A perfect 10/10 and must have for any Rush fan.
