This is probably their most commercial album, but don't hold that against it. It's a great one anyway. Look for the CD limited edition with obscene photo behind the CD tray. The LP adds a bonus track called "Stalker".

This is Sonic Youth worst and definately most over-rated album. Kim''s vocals are embarrassing, seeming to be intentionally off-key and the lyrics are pretty stupid...still, it''s a Sonic Youth record, and that means at least a few classic songs..."Theresa''s Sound-World", "Wish Fulfillment", "Sugar Kane", "Chapel Hill"... but in the end the whole thing is a sloppy mess...
