This album is a great example of the amazing talents of Richie Sambora. He is a fantastic guitarist, brilliant songwriter, and has an amazing voice which does nothing but impress. This album is a beautiful example of an admirable musician, who has a great feel for blues and rock. Baz.

This is an excellent album; and I'm not being just a little predjudiced just because Richie is like the greatest man on the face of the earth either; however, everyone should listen to this album, Richie even gives listening instructions to hieghten the mood. Some of the songs are even pretty spiritual. I give this album two thumbs up!

My copy of this disc has 10 tracks... and a slightly different track order. 'Father Time' is one of the best songs of recent memory. Its classical influence is extremely appealing.

This album is simply the best! Go Richie! Even not-Bon Jovi fans among my friends like this bluesy music. I´m waiting for the next solo album....

This is my favorite album of all time. Even if you are not a Bon Jovi fan, you still will enjoy this one, it is influenced greatly by Clapton, etc. I'd like to thank Michael Rader for turning me on to Richie's solo work. I can't wait for another one to come out.

This album is so inspirational its unbelievable. I was going thru a really rough time in college when this album came out and it really pulled me through those times. One Light Burning is such an inspiration to those in destress or going thru a hard time. That's when Rich wrote it, he was going thru a hard time too. Give it a listen. You'll get goosebumps, I guarantee you!! SAMBORA'S THE MAN!!!!

The Answer, is the best song for me
This is the first solo album of Richie Sambora, famous to beBon Jovi`s guitarist. In this album appears Eric Clapton, who performs the guitarsolo in "Mister Bluesman"
For a debut album it is a classic. Showing a depth of talent that would have been otherwise hidden away in the Bon Jovi band wagon. Yes Clapton plays on the album, but Sambora more than holds his own. Why this album never had more success is beyond me. Listen to Onelight Burning and the title track.
