Comments for Schulze, Klaus, Dome Event, The

The first track is a recorded live performance at Koln Cathedral,and reveals the whole structure of classical piece (actually, thewhole track is sub-divided onto several parts which don`t appearon my CD-player). Starting with etherial atmospheres (andante) withaforementioned sampled voices the piece develops into trance-like pulse with melodies entwined and finally bursts into free-flying presto. Although does not classify as Krautrock it may at times approach it. The last track is recorded in studio and not as tenseand dramatic as the live part but there is strong spacy feel about it. Recommended. The CD is probably out-of-print (in US it was released byCaroline, cat # 1881), at least not readily available.
