An excellent album even though it's much lighter than others. Does Anyone Know, Soul Behind The Face, When You Came Into My Life, and You and I are some of the premier songs on this album. Let's hope this isn't their last album.

It is one of the best Scorpions album. "When you came into my life" is better then "Still loving you".

One Of the best Scorps albums yet. "When You Came Into My Life" And "Are You The One" are a bit slow for me but still worth listening to. "Stone In My Shoe" seems to to be lacking some melody in the verses and doesn't seem to compare with the others. Besides that, all the other songs are excellent. a few of my favorites are "Soul Behind The Face" and "Where The River Flows"

It's an album that is a bit slower than the others but it is EXCELLENT!!! I love all the songs. Maybe "where the river flows" can be better but all the rest of the album is very good.

As a long time Scorpions fan, I have to agree this album is not so heavy as the previous one. Reminds me something like In Trance. Songs reflecting self-experiences. But the Best for You and Soul Behind the Face are the highlights.

I'm a crazy fan of the Scorpions. And this album totally emprised me.This album is more softer then the other ones. We could realy hear Klaus's best vocals on this album, Rudolf and Matthias guitars played really good on the album. Ralf had a good beat"Where the river flows","You and I"... And the rest did excellent. On a scale of 100, I give it 101. I hope the Scorpions keep up the good work.

Hee, hee, hee. Scorps keep changing, always for the better. I thought I had figured that they would be heavier than FTH, but no. Their talent has not gone unnoticed here.

The first time i heared Pure Instict i was surprised, how the Scorpions changed. Man! Klaus has excellent lyrics, music and vocals. Rudolf and Matthias played very well, so did Ralf. I'm sad that Herman left the band. He was there best drummer, no one got be as good as him. But the Scorpions said that there new drummer "Curt Cress" is outstanding. It's unbelievable that Klaus is 48 years old and still signs like an excellent signer. Rudolf is also 48 he's getting better than better and goes for Matthias who is 40 years old. That prooves means the Scorpions didn't lose there sting there, there doing better than that. But let's just hope they don't stop. The Scorps are the best thing that ever happed on this planet. Take it from a huge fan, THE SCORPIONS ROCK THE WORLD!

It's a very good album, but I think it is a bit slow, except for some songs. They just keep getting better every day!

i absolutely love this record,it shows how they can really keep up there music quality right up until their 25th anniversery .some people disagree but i think they are the most consistent bands ever.they dont follow trends just produce great quality melodic music.just listen to where "the river flows" i love the musicianship in this song ,especially the bass. This band really deserves more recognition here in australia, anyone that critisices this band ,please look at how long they have lasted and the crowd attendences.

...ditto. I couldn't agree more with what "ciccio@ar.com.auciccio@ar.com.au" wrote about the Scorps and Pure Instinct. Scorps are a band that are extremely creative, I always appreciate their music.

Man, if you people in australia think they need more recognition, come here to America. People here know them by "Rock you like a Hurricane", not even by their name. I only know one other guy that is a huge scorpions fan, and that's my friend's dad! I hope someday I could see them in concert. They didnt even come here to play in their 25th anniversary.

PURE CLASS!! THE BEST THEIR IS. IN AUSTRALIA THEY'RE KNOWN FOR THE "WIND OF CHANGE" SINGLE, AND NO MORE, SIMPLY BECAUSE PROMOTERS ARE TO FUCKING LAME TO BRING THEM HERE. THEY 'RE TO PLAY AUSTRALIA/NZ DURING THE INSTINCT TOUR AS PLANNED BY ATLANTIC RECORDS, STILL WAITING... LONG LIVE SCORPS........

At first I was disappointed, this album is much slower than their others. The second time through the CD something magical happened and the music simply took me over. I love Wild Child and But the Best For You

I remember the first time I heard this album and it took a couple of plays to get into ,but I think its brilliant. The very few rock tracks rock and the ballads are fantastic such as 'When You Came Into My Life' and 'You and I'.I also love the acoustic driven 'Where the River Flows'.
