Comments for Barrett, Syd, The Madcap Laughs

An incomparable record by a truly great artist. The lyrics are quite amazing, and the songs are on par with the work of a Dylan or a Lennon. This is much heavier and more personal than Barrett's Floyd music.

Maybe on par with Dylan and Lennon if they were on 6000 hits of acid. This is a terriffic record.

Ever noticed how all of the boring tracks on this album are by Roger Waters?

Just think, if Syd got his act together and did these songs, they'd be awesome! But that's not possible because Syd is never going to be better, and the songs can't really get better than this.
