Comments for Smithereens, The, Blow Up

Although Blow Up certainly has its strong tracks, I found it uncharacteristically mellow. The album could do without tracks like If You Want . . . and Indigo Blues. Also, relative to the latest release, A Date With, the lyrics seem very-Bon Jovi-ish, with very little substance other than teen love stories. I feel this album is the dark moment in their careers as musicians and songwriters.
