En este album Soda muestra una madurez logrda en parte gracias a la produccion de Carlos Alomar. Canciones estilizadas y con letras llenas de simbolismos como "En la ciudad de la furia" (mi favorita) o "Corazon delator" muestran calidad de principio a fin. Una muestra de que los latinos tambien hacen rock inteligente de excelente manufactura. Un clasico, sin duda.

Double Life is the definitive creative consolidation of the band,and the liric maturity of Gustavo Ceratti. Fury city,The Cupola(what it bleeds) and Picnic in the B room,are far away classics of classics of the latin rock. We got here a clear european 80''s pop-rock influence,british most of all.A belling guitar playing,the metrical exactitude of the drums and a backgound resonance of the bass,are the shining results here. On a personal sight,is Corazón Delator,the beautiest play of the album,is a call,a mellancolical cry,an anthem of sadness, but also a renaissence of hope,hope in love.All of it masterly expressed by Soda. It worths every coin you pay for it........
