What is this album like lyrically?

One of the truly great albums to come out of the "alternative" shit of the 90s. Scary, funny, tear-jerking, and beautiful. "True Dreams Of Wichita" can't be beat. "City Of Motors" is perfect fiction. "Casiotone Nation" is weird and wonderful, as is the rest of the album. A must have.

i think that jack keruoac would be impressed. "a fifth of tokay, no tea"........ a little "tea" probably would be in order, though. for medicinal purposes only, of course!

The only thing Noah would've needed in the Ark, well then he would also need Soul Coughing's next album "Irresistible Bliss".

My favorite album of all time

Although a little odd I must recommend this album to everyoneas it is difficult tot tell who will like them and who will not.My feeling however is that they will dissappoint very few people.

genius. creative brilliance. If you like bands that come from far out of left field and could give a shit what is on the charts, get this record. It's 10 years old, and still ahead of it's time. And if you are a musician, this will influence anything you ever do...
